Pharmacy Assistant

Responsibilities

• A pharmacy assistant supports pharmacists in dispensing medications, managing inventory, assisting with customer inquiries, and maintaining pharmacy records.
• They may also prepare prescription labels, assist in stock management, and ensure the pharmacy operates smoothly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (some positions may require post-secondary education in pharmacy technology)
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work under supervision in a fast-paced environment
• Basic knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology and processes (preferred)
