JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE Performs the duties of Pharmacist as prescribed by state and federal statutes as well as SHS policies. Prepares and dispenses medication; assesses clinical status of patients (neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics). Provides drug information to the medical team. Educates patients. DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION Samaritan Lebanon Pharmacy is a community pharmacy located in a multidisciplinary ambulatory clinic in Sweet Home. The pharmacy is open to any member of the public. The primary role of this pharmacy is to dispense community patient prescriptions. They also offer immunizations, medication management services, and contraceptive prescribing. The pharmacy is staffed by experienced pharmacists and pharmacy technicians who are dedicated to patient care.
