Requirements

• Matric or equivalent.
• Appropriate Post‑Basic Pharmacist Assistant Qualification that allows registration with the South African Pharmacy Council.
• Registration certificate with the SAPC as a Post‑Basic Pharmacist Assistant and proof of payment for current annual fees.
• Computer literacy (MS Office).
• Preparation to undergo medical surveillance.
• Experience level:
  • Grade 1: No experience required after registration with the SAPC.
  • Grade 2: Minimum of 5 years appropriate experience after registration.
  • Grade 3: Minimum of 13 years appropriate experience after registration.
