Petroleum Inspector

Responsibilities

• Perform quantity determinations according to industry standards for various commodities including petroleum products and crude in various containers such as shore tanks, vessel tanks, ISO tanks/drums and tank trucks.
• Conduct sampling as per industry standards with knowledge of various sampling methods including running, all level spot, upper/middle/lower and dead bottom. Well versed in the different types of samplers utilized in the petroleum industry.
• Conduct inspections of petrochemicals collecting samples for laboratory analysis retention and clients.
• Physically measure and record the temperature of shore tanks using various methods in accordance with company and API procedures.
• Calculate and report transferred quantities conducting thorough reconciliations and capable of performing voyage analysis.
