Job Title: PET/CT Technologist
Specialty: Nuclear Medicine / Positron Emission Tomography - PET/CT
Site: VA Long Beach Healthcare System (VALBHS)
Location: 5901 E. 7th Street, Long Beach, CA 90822
Duration: 1 year contract with the possibility of four 1 year extension
Shift Schedule:

• Day Shift: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
• Weekday Coverage Only (including holidays; no weekend shifts listed)

How Many Shifts Needed Per Month: ~41 shifts/month (based on ~347 hrs/month ÷ ~8.5 hr shifts)
Certifications:

• Current valid ARRT (N) - Nuclear Medicine Technologist - required, AND/OR
• Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) - Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist - required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification - required
• IV certification - preferred but not required
