Personal Care Assistant
New Bridge Learning Centre, New Bridge School, Oldham, Lancashire, OL8 3PH
Position: Permanent, Full-time; salary: £24,796 per annum.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide personal care support to adults and children, including assistance with daily living activities.
- Assist with feeding, supervision, and overall wellbeing of young people.
- Perform manual handling safely, including the use of hoist equipment after training.
Required qualifications and experience:
- Experience in health and care work with adults or children; experience in an educational setting is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to lift manually and operate hoist equipment safely.
- Full DBS check, eligibility to work in the UK, and commitment to safeguarding children and vulnerable adults.
