About the Employer

I am looking for a caring and reliable Personal Assistant to support my child within the family home and eventually out in the community. This role would suit someone who is patient, energetic, calm under pressure, and genuinely passionate about supporting children with additional needs to thrive. A consistent approach is very important, as time will be needed initially to build trust and develop a positive bond. Currently the role is funded for 5 hours per week, usually worked flexibly during the weekends, with additional flexibility during school holidays. As my son is home educated, there may also be opportunities for weekday support over time. My son is autistic, non-verbal, highly sensory seeking, and requires close supervision at all times to maintain safety due to risks including climbing, pica and choking.
