Permanent Substitute Teacher (Full-Time)

Job Title: Reserve Teacher

 

Job Summary:

Reserve Teachers at Dayton Early College Academy (DECA) report to work each day to fill assigned vacancies. Assignments may be changed by the district or school principal at the last minute based on need. The Reserve Teacher may be expected to travel between and work at various campuses within the district. The Reserve Teacher will be responsible for carrying out lesson plans/duties of the teacher for whom he/she is substituting and meeting the duties of teaching as outlined in laws and policies.  The Reserve Teacher reports to the building principal.

 

Qualifications:

+ Ability to Obtain Valid Ohio License;

+ K-3, 4-9 or 7-12 License; or

+ Long-Term Substitute; 

+ K-3 License preferred


+ Prior relevant experience preferred;

+ Demonstrated flexibility and sense of humor;

+ Effective interpersonal skills;
