Per Diem Pipefitter

**Job Title: Pipefitter** **Job Description**
We are seeking a highly skilled Pipefitter with extensive experience in marine, commercial nuclear, or petro/chemical industries. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to interpret ship piping drawings and have proficiency in fitting carbon steel, CRES, and copper nickel piping.

**Responsibilities**

+ Read and interpret ship piping drawings.
+ Fit carbon steel, CRES, and copper nickel piping.
+ End prep piping by hand or using Portsmouth Machine.
+ Install pipe hangers.
+ Read a ruler using inches and tenths.
+ Prep and fit-up backing rings.
+ Clean cut/break pipe with a grinder.
+ Hand prep V bevels.
+ Fabricate various details and assemblies from drawings.
+ Bend pipe from templates and use a hand bender.
+ Fit welded sockets.
+ Fit brazed joints with or without inserts.

+ Five years or more experience as a First Class Pipefitter in marine...
