Job Description

Assists Physical Therapists in their treatment of patients. Prepares patients for treatment. Maintains department in a clean and orderly fashion.

Job Responsibility

+ * Assists Physical Therapists in their treatment of patients
+ Prepares patients for treatment, as directed.
+ Transports patients to and from department.
+ Assists patients in dressing and undressing.
+ Assembles and places equipment and supplies for use.
+ Places patients in position for treatment and assists in transfers.
+ Assists PT in giving paraffin treatments, applying hot packs, assists patients in and out of whirlpool and hubbard tank, and guards patients in ambulation.
+ Assists patients to bathroom.
+ * Assists professional staff in ordering supplies. Orders linens and maintains linen closet in a neat and orderly fashion.
