People & Culture Business Partner

Powerex is a fast-paced, dynamic, wholly owned energy marketing subsidiary of BC Hydro. We’re looking for a People & Culture Business Partner who builds, elevates, and owns - someone who’s just as comfortable creating from scratch as they are strengthening what’s already in place.

This role sits at the intersection of talent, operations, and culture. You’ll own programs and systems across the end-to-end employee lifecycle and be a trusted partner to leaders and employees across the organization. You bring both a strategic and operational lens – moving with pace, thinking broadly, and balancing agility with sound judgement in an evolving environment.

What You’ll Do

• Be a trusted business partner and the primary point of contact across a wide range of topics
• Partner with leaders on end-to-end employee lifecycle – including hiring, onboarding, development, performance, offboarding, team effectiveness, and more
