Job Overview
New graduates and U.S.A. certified license holders are welcome to apply for a permanent pediatrician position at Dawson Creek & District Hospital.
In this role you will build a new pediatric service. You will provide clinic services, support the maternity unit when needed, and provide ER consultations on pediatric cases. The community has no dedicated inpatient pediatric beds or a neonatal intensive care unit; regional pediatric inpatient services are in Prince George, BC.
Support and Facilities
Dawson Creek has a new community hospital under construction, expected to open in 2027. You will be supported by locum pediatricians in nearby Fort St. John and local specialists including general surgery, orthopedics, internal medicine, radiology, and psychiatry.
