5 Months Contract Role with a Local Authority Summary This role involves providing safe, reliable, and compassionate transport for children and adults with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). The position is crucial in ensuring passengers are transported securely, on time, and with dignity, while maintaining the highest standards of safety, safeguarding, and customer service. Responsibilities Safely transport SEND passengers to and from schools, colleges, and care settings. Operate PCV vehicles in accordance with DVSA regulations and council policies. Conduct daily vehicle safety checks and promptly report any defects. Support passengers with additional needs in a calm, respectful, and professional manner.
