Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Band 6 Deputy Sister/Charge Nurse to join our Paediatric Critical Care team and be an integral part of the PCCU Education and PCCU Clinical team.
Post holders will be expected to work a minimum of 23hrs per week across days, nights and weekend shifts.
Main duties of the job
The post-holder will be an experienced, knowledgeable practitioner in Paediatric Critical Care providing clinically based practice development and education. They will role model best, evidence-based professional practice. Clinical education will form approximately 50% of the role, engaging in education activities and working flexibly to maximise education delivery to support staff and patient safety/experience e.g.: Working alongside learners at all stages of development to facilitate learning Identifying and supporting learning needs within PCC Developing and updating training resources Contributing t...
