PC Technician

Description We are looking for a PC Technician to provide frontline technical support in a Higher Education environment in New York. This contract position focuses on assisting end users with everyday desktop and device issues across both Windows and Mac systems. The ideal candidate will deliver responsive support, help users stay connected and productive, and ensure workstation hardware and software are set up correctly.

Responsibilities:
• Provide first-level desktop support for faculty, staff, and students by troubleshooting common hardware, software, and access-related issues.
• Support users working on both Windows and macOS devices, resolving technical problems in a timely and detail-oriented manner.
• Help end users connect to the wireless network and address basic connectivity concerns affecting their devices.
• Install and configure Microsoft Office applications and other standard productivity tools required for daily use.
