**What you will do in this role:**
+ Answers incoming calls, extends to proper extension courteously and quickly.
+ Responds correctly and expediently per department policy to alarm systems: fire, codes, generator failure, etc.
+ Pages and voice messages doctors and hospital personnel clearly and promptly.
+ Actively assists in training of new operators when necessary.
+ Takes initiative to keep calendar lists and on-call lists updated in all handbooks
