Payroll Officer (Temporary - 8 Week Assignment)

We are currently seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join our team on an 8-week temporary assignment , supporting payroll operations during the implementation and go-live of a new payroll system.

This is an immediate start opportunity, ideal for a well-rounded payroll professional who can step in and provide reliable support during a critical transition period.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-end payroll processing for a large employee base
• Supporting payroll system go-live and initial pay runs
• Interpreting and processing complex Awards and Enterprise Agreements (SCHADS highly regarded)
• Managing payroll compliance, including superannuation, tax, and statutory obligations
• Processing payroll journals, reconciliations, reporting, and month-end activities
• Working with rostering and time & attendance systems
