**The Team**
Our payroll team looks after the payroll needs of all Cisco countries across our EMEA region. We manage or directly run the accurate and timely payments for over 13,000 employees in over 60 countries. This gives professionals in the team a chance to gain significant exposure to the payroll practices in many different countries, through both end-to-end and vendor management models.
**What You'll Do**
You will be responsible for end-to-end payroll process for UK & Ireland in an in-house model, and managing a local vendor for MEA countries. For specific countries you would be assigned to, you will be responsible for:
+ Ensuring compliance and providing expert support to employees regarding payroll queries.
+ Executing all payroll-related payments to employees, tax authorities, and social security offices.
+ Processing payroll journal entries into the general ledger and preparing monthly wage tax returns.
