Patient Care Technician - Emergency Services - Full Time

Position Summary:

This is a Day shift 10:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. position, must be available to work every other weekend and every other holiday.

Provides general support tasks (clinical and non‐clinical) for assigned patient care area. Works with other members of the patient care team to deliver care to patients in age groups including newborns, infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. In addition, the Patient Care Technician performs venipuncture when available.

Education, License & Cert: Specific previous phlebotomy experience and/or phlebotomy courses in a phlebotomy program are preferred. Certification highly preferred. Good communication skills including the proper use of grammar and lab technical terms Previous patient care experience preferred, but not required.
