Patient Benefit Coordinator 1

**Job Purpose or Objective(s):** The Patient Benefit Coordinator conducts eligibility screenings and assesses patient’s financial requirements for third party insurance options. You will report to the Manager.

**Primary Tasks:**
1. Interview and patients to determine eligibility for resources.
2. Update patient’s records after each screening.
3. Educate patients on available insurance options, provide quotes, and help with the application and referral process.
4. Navigate the patient through the ACA/Marketplace application and ensure the necessary documentation is submitted; assist applicants on coverage and changes to coverage.
5. Review program eligibility guidelines, coverage options, and Native American policies and benefits.
