Patient Attendant - Float Staffing / Nights / Part Time / 24 hrs

Performs basic patient monitoring activities under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). Responsibilities: Remains at bedside of assigned patient at all times unless relieved by an appropriate staff member.| Assists in calming and/or reorienting patient in cases of agitation or confusion.| Removes visible hazards and/or broken equipment from immediate environment and reports as appropriate.| Records all observations.

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

+ BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

+ Certification specializing in Crisis Prevention preferred.

+ Education: - High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

+ Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
