Pathology Physician

Optimum has partnered with a leading cancer center in Tampa, Florida, with an opportunity for a Division Chief of Breast Pathology to join their team.

This is a great chance for a skilled Breast Pathologist to lead a dedicated, dynamic team at a reputable healthcare facility.

About the Opportunity:

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9-hour shifts
• Frozen call 1-2 weeks per year, Friday 5:30p-Friday 7:30a
• Annual Volume: 8,200 cases
• Caseload: 90% clinical, 10% administrative
• Overseeing a team of 10-11 breast pathologists
• No autopsies or pediatrics
• Interest in research is a plus
• EMR: Cerner, moving to Epic Beaker
• Must be breast fellowship trained
• Must be board-certified
