Role Summary

Research Scientist – Patent Department supports patent searching, freedom to operate analysis, drafting, and prosecution activities for inventions.

Key Responsibilities

• Literature search to support R&D activities
• Conduct patentability- analyse prior art to assess novelty and inventive step
• Conduct freedom‑to‑operate searches
• Preparing and Filing Response in the Patent Office
• Drafting patent specification.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of organic chemistry
• Strong knowledge of Indian Patent Act
• Patent search and prior‑art analysis skills
• Understanding of patent
• Analytical thinking and attention to detail
