Part Time Professor, Powerline Technician Program

Cambrian College’s School of Skills Training is seeking part-time professors to teach in the Powerline Technician program starting in September 2025. This position will primarily focus on delivering the Powerline Construction course, which includes 8 hours of field instruction.

Required:

• Powerline Technician (434A) Certificate of Qualification is required; a Powerline Technician Certificate of Apprenticeship is considered an asset.
• A copy of educational documents must be submitted with application. For applicants with education completed outside of Canada, submit a WES or ICAS with your application.
• Minimum five years of practical work experience in distribution at the Journeyperson level is required.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and superior oral and written communication skills.
