Part Time Paediatrician

Paedspal is a registered Not for Profit organisation based in Rondebosch, providing care and support for children living with life-threatening and life limiting illnesses. Paediatric Palliative Care (PPC) is a rapidly developing new approach to care, organised in some places as a specialty, to improve the care and quality of life of children with life limiting conditions. It is the science and art of lessening physical, psychosocial, emotional and existential suffering by multidisciplinary teams that mobilise existing resources.

Paedspal seeks to employ a Part time Paediatrician to service our patients within the private sector.

Responsibilities

• Be available in normal working hours when required (according to an agreed schedule).
• See hospitalised patients in private sector hospitals in the Cape Town area, based on the updated Paedspal private practice model.
