Summary: Process the allocation, routing, tracing and distribution of materials. Supporting all TPM customers, both internal and external, by providing all necessary spare parts and associated information promptly, accurately and economically.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Receive and fill telephone orders for parts.
+ Determine replacement parts required, according to inspections of old parts, customer requests, or customers' descriptions of malfunctions.
+ Fill customer orders from stock and requisition items that are out of stock.
+ Prepare sales slips or sales contracts.
+ Assist customers, such as responding to customer complaints and updating them about back-ordered parts.
+ Discuss use and features of various parts, based on knowledge of machines or equipment.
