Parks Maintainer | Temporary Full-Time

The City of Swift Current is inviting applications for a temporary, full-time Parks Maintainer position within the Community Services Division. This 9-month term is scheduled to begin in September and end in May 2027.

Under the direction of the Parks Superintendent, this position supports the maintenance of City parks and green spaces, cemeteries, playground equipment, sports fields, and related City properties. Duties include mowing, string trimming, top dressing, aerating and fertilizing turf, applying herbicides, maintaining and refinishing parks furniture, and opening and closing interments in cemeteries. During the winter months, the position operates and maintains outdoor ice rinks on a split shift.
