Paramedic

Emergency Paramedic

Performs as an emergency paramedic, responding to, assessing, rendering appropriate emergency care to, and transporting, patients with illnesses or injuries.

Salary: $23.03 hourly/$51,495.08 annually, plus:

• $96.92 biweekly cafeteria benefit
• Guaranteed holiday pay (up to 11 per calendar year)
• A 2.5% employer contribution to a Deferred Compensation account
• Special Risk Retirement with the Florida Retirement System
• Total Compensation: $57,455.68

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduation from high school or possession of a GED certification; and
• Possession of a valid State of Florida certification as a Paramedic; and
• Possession of a valid American Heart Association approved Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification; and
• Possession of a valid Florida Driver's License.
