Paramedic (Per-diem/Townsend)

Essential Job Functions

• Performs patient care in theEmergency Department and ground medical transports within the defined scope of
practice for specific education/certification level and as directed or
supervised by the charge nurse and/or physician. Complies with applicable State
of Montana rules and regulations, Emergency Department and Billings Clinic
policies and procedures.
• Ensures adequate supply
stocking. Informs appropriate personnel of equipment needing repair and
initiates work requisitions.
• Actively participates in
covering the staffing needs of the department.
Utilizes performance improvement
principles to assess and improve quality.
• Identifies needs and sets goals
for own growth and development; meets all mandatory organizational and
departmental requirements.
• Maintains competency in all
organizational, departmental and outside agency safety standards relevant to
