Paralegal

Amentum is seeking a Paralegal to join our dynamic team to support the Department of Justice (DOJ) in Washington, DC. This role will work directly with trial attorneys, investigators, and other staff at the Enforcement and Affirmative Litigation Branch. Working under close supervision, with required assistance readily available, and following standard operating procedures and guidelines, performs the following tasks:

+ Maintains case files; performs simple legal research.
+ Reviews and summarizes information in prescribed format
+ Review and log/track correspondence
+ Indexes, and tracks document discovery (including documents produced and received in discovery.)
+ Indexes and tracks documents and other materials to be used in depositions and at trial.
+ Prepares document cross-references and helps organize witness/trial binders.
+ Assists attorneys in the courtroom.
