Job Summary:

Manages the installation, daily maintenance, training and support of the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) for the diagnostic imaging department. Oversees PACS support staff and imaging informatics library staff.


Job Requirements:

Education and Work Experience:

  • Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required
  • Bachelor's Degree: Preferred
  • Five years' information technology (IT) and imaging informatics experience: Preferred

    • Essential Functions:

  • Manages the daily operation of the PACS, monitoring and troubleshooting as needed. Works closely with the information technology (IT) department to coordinate installation and upgrades, maintain system functionality and minimize downtime. Maintains PACS security, adhering to Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and complying with local, state and federal regulations.<...
