Summary:
The Packer II position is responsible for operating the packer and palletizer, making sure the equipment is operating correctly, and the bags are properly sealed. Responsible for all paperwork, sanitation of the area and making sure that the correct product is packed in the correct packaging. All this while maintaining safe work practices. This is a Night Shift position, 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
Primary Duties:
+ This is an hourly position that involves mechanical skills and machine operation in the packing of 25 pound and 50 pound bags of finished product.
+ Perform Metal detector checks for our CCP.
+ Sanitation of area and warehouse
+ Process paperwork and documentation
+ Operation of forklift
+ Must observe and utilize Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) as set forth by Miller Milling Company in accordance with BRC standards.
+ Responsibility to food safety regulations.
