Main Purpose

Ensure the reliability, standardization, and technological evolution of Sigma’s global packaging lines by defining technical standards, managing suppliers at an advanced level, and developing internal capabilities. This role safeguards operational continuity, optimizes CAPEX investments, and ensures technical decisions align with global performance, cost, quality, and food safety criteria.

Key Responsibilities Define and maintain integral standards for packaging equipment specifications (thermoformers, end-of-line). Develop and update the Packaging Equipment Specs Book. Validate technical specifications in RFQs and ensure regional alignment. Manage supplier homologation and evaluation. Lead second-level technical support for critical failures. Perform advanced diagnostics (remote and on-site). Validate supplier solutions and execution quality. Coordinate root cause analysis. Analyze equipment performance (OEE, scrap, downtime).
