UPMC Community Medicine Incorporated is hiring a Full-Time Physician Assistant or Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner to help support Northern Gastroenterology.
Hours: Monday-Friday daylight - weekend and on call rotation
Location: 5500 Brooktree Rd. Wexford, Pa 15090
Position Specifics: The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) with Northern Gastroenterology works closely with their supervising physician to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across both outpatient and inpatient settings. In the outpatient office, the APP manages their own patient schedule, evaluates patients, and develops comprehensive care plans to address a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions. The role also includes rotating inpatient hospital rounds at UPMC Passavant, providing the opportunity to collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams and participate in the management of acutely ill GI patients.
