Join OSM Thome as an Ordinary Seaman on oil/chemical tankers trading worldwide. Work with an experienced crew, support safe deck operations, and grow your seafaring career in a professional and safety-focused environment.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Assist with mooring, unmooring, anchoring, and cargo operations
- Carry out deck maintenance, chipping, painting, and cleaning
- Keep lookout on bridge and assist with watchkeeping as directed
- Handle mooring lines, fenders, and gangway arrangements
- Follow safety procedures and take part in drills
- Support officers and senior crew with general deck duties
**Requirements**:
- Valid Basic STCW certificates and seaman’s book
- Previous experience as OS, preferably on tankers
- Tanker familiarization / DCE (if required by flag or trade)
- Good English communication skills
- Medically fit for sea service
- Strong safety mindset and willingness to learn
