Join OSM Thome as an Ordinary Seaman (OS) on a bulk carrier trading worldwide. Work with an experienced crew, support safe deck operations, and build your seagoing career in a professional and international environment.
- **Key Responsibilities**:
- Assist with mooring, unmooring and anchoring operations
- Carry out deck maintenance, including chipping, painting and cleaning
- Handle cargo gear and assist during loading and discharging
- Keep deck areas, accommodation and workspaces clean and in good order
- Stand lookout and assist on the bridge as directed
- Follow safety procedures and take part in drills and trainings
- **Requirements**:
- Valid STCW certificates for Ordinary Seaman
- Previous sea experience on bulk carriers preferred
- Valid medical fitness certificate and seaman’s book
- Good command of English, spoken and written
- Fit for hard work on deck and able to work in a mixed-nationality crew
