We are looking for an experienced Optometrist to join our team in Umm-al-Qaiwain. The right candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience and must be licensed to practice in the UAE.
The position offers a competitive salary of 1100 AED per month, with the potential for bonuses and other incentives. We are open to considering applications from qualified foreign candidates.
Responsibilities include:
- Screening patients for vision problems;
- Prescribing eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other vision aids;
- Testing patients’ colour vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision;
- Diagnosing eye diseases such as glaucoma or cataracts;
- Examining eyes for signs of injury or disease;
- Explaining procedures and discussing test results with patients;
- Referring patients to ophthalmologists when necessary.
