Optometrist

Job Title: Optometrist – Location: Al Ain, United Arab Emirates

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and accurate refraction
• Prescribe spectacles and contact lenses
• Perform contact lens fitting and provide patient education
• Assist customers in selecting suitable eyewear
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Deliver exceptional customer service and contribute to the growth of the practice
• Accommodation provided; Non-DOH licensed holders can apply

Requirements

• Bachelor of Optometry (or equivalent)
• Eligibility for a UAE professional licence (DOH licence or eligibility is preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an optical retail or clinical setting
• Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, or Arabic is an advantage
