Ophthalmologist Specialist in Vaasa

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient care at the ophthalmology clinic.
• Perform on‑call duties during office hours.
• Conduct minor procedures including laser treatments and Ozurdex implants.
• Consult with nursing staff.
• Maintain approximately 12 patient consultations per day.

Qualifications

• Licensed ophthalmologist in Finland.
• Minimum two years of experience as a specialist doctor.
• Valvira/PublicHealth register information in order.
• Proficiency in Finnish and Swedish.
• Ability to interpret patient records in both languages.

Work Hours & Location

Working hours: 08:00–15:30 with a 30‑minute lunch break (on‑site in Vaasa). The work period is from 1October2026 to 30September2028, scheduled according to employer needs and the doctor’s availability.
