Operator Gamma Irradiation Plant (San Luis Potosí)

Key Responsibilities
Operate the Irradiator safely and immediately report any malfunction or anomaly to the Radiation Safety Officer and/or the Irradiator Maintenance Supervisor.
Coordinate the irradiation program with the work team.
Verify that pallets prepared for treatment meet the plant specifications to avoid issues inside the irradiator.
Attend all training sessions assigned by the company.
In the event of an irradiation system failure, perform the basic checks established to restore the irradiator's operation.
Report all failures to the maintenance area.
Support the maintenance supervisor with irradiator maintenance tasks when required.
Perform radiological safety tests of the irradiator as required.
Periodically carry out radiation level surveys.
Follow radiological safety protocols when entering the irradiation chamber with assigned personnel.
Report equipment failures to the Radiation Safety Officer (RSO).
