Responsibilities
- Own and deliver the operational budget for the whole SC, including safety, productivity, financial planning, labor planning, and operational goals
- Provide strategic level/long-term planning (3, 6, 12 months and 3 yr overview)
- Guide building culture according to leadership principles
- Set clear goals and expectations for Operations and Area Managers
- Measure performance, provide feedback, and hold leaders accountable
- Drive creation of quality initiatives, process change initiatives, and other Lean initiatives to enable the functional area and ultimately the SC to meet and exceed the business plan
- Take proactive steps to ensure that best practices are shared across all departments, shifts, and among the network
- Work closely with support staff (HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety, IT, and other Site Leaders/General Managers) to build and secure support and resources for projects and initiatives, as we...
