Operations controller

Purpose of the Role

To coordinate and control the daily operations of the fuel tanker fleet, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient delivery of fuel products. The role has a strong focus on fleet management, vehicle maintenance, route coordination, driver supervision, and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities Fleet Management Monitor and coordinate daily tanker movements and deliveries. Track vehicle availability, utilisation, and downtime. Ensure all fuel tankers are roadworthy and operational. Manage breakdowns, incidents, and emergency responses. Maintenance & Compliance Coordinate preventative maintenance and repairs of fuel tankers. Monitor service schedules, licensing, permits, and inspections. Ensure compliance with fuel transport, SHEQ, and road traffic regulations. Maintain accurate fleet maintenance and compliance records.
