An independent veterinary practice in Berkshire is seeking an experienced Locum Veterinary Surgeon from Monday 27th July on an ongoing basis.

The position will continue until a permanent Veterinary Surgeon is appointed. The practice requires someone who is confident performing routine surgical procedures and comfortable contributing to its weekend and evening rota.

The Role

* Four to five days per week, depending on the practice rota
* Requested working days may be considered but cannot be guaranteed
* Standard shifts start at 8:30am and finish between 5:30pm and 6:30pm
* Approximately one operating day per week, starting at 8am
* One late on-call shift per week until 9pm, with a 1pm start
* No overnight on-call
* 1:5 weekend rota
* Saturday or Sunday morning consultations, followed by on-call until 5pm
