Advance cancer research with CancerCare Manitoba as an Oncology Research Nurse. Engage in patient screening, manage treatment plans, and support clinical trial protocols effectively.
This role reports to the Clinical Trials Unit's Patient Services Manager and requires strict adherence to nursing practice standards. As a Research Nurse, your key tasks include monitoring adult and pediatric patients enrolled in clinical trials, ensuring patient safety through proper consent procedures, and actively participating in patient education. You will collaborate closely with care teams to promote a culture of research.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct patient screenings for clinical trials
• Document and oversee consent processes
• Organize and monitor treatment plans
• Educate patients and families on trial protocols
• Coordinate specimen collection for research
Requirements:
• Registration with CRNM and CPR credentials
• At least 3 years of experience in oncology
