Nursing – Gastrointestinal
Schedule: 12hr Nights,
Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 Weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 Weekly
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience within specialty
- AHA BLS & NIH Certification required
- ACLS preferred
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in the gastrointestinal unit, ensuring adherence to established protocols and standards.
- Monitor and assess patient condition, communicating changes to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, procedures, and post-discharge needs.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record system.
