Job Description
- Evaluates patients and develops individualized treatment plans to enhance functional independence across acute hospital, acute rehabilitation, inpatient, medical–surgical, and outpatient environments.
- This role delivers therapeutic interventions that support the performance of daily living activities, promotes safety, and maximizes patient participation in meaningful routines.
- The OT collaborates closely with the interdisciplinary team, educates patients and caregivers on adaptive strategies and equipment use, and ensures timely, accurate documentation in accordance with regulatory and facility standards.
- The therapist maintains a safe treatment environment, demonstrates strong communication and clinical reasoning skills, and performs other duties as assigned to support high‑quality, patient‑centered care.
