OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH NURSE PRACTITIONER

Inherent requirements:

• Registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) and qualified as an Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner, supported by a Bachelor’s degree, diploma, or equivalent qualification in Occupational Health Nursing
• Registered with SASOHN and accredited to perform Audiometry, with valid certification in Vision Screening, Audiometry, and Spirometry
• Possession of a valid Dispensing Certificate, Proof of Professional Indemnity, and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Sound knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) and applicable regulations
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, policies, procedures, and technical documentation
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess and resolve practical workplace health issues in diverse environments
