Nutritionist (Roster Position)

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Nutritionist is responsible for leading International Medical Corps’ Nutrition in Emergencies (NiE) interventions across project sites, ensuring that activities are effectively planned, implemented, and monitored in line with national policies, humanitarian standards, and donor requirements. The role focuses on improving the nutritional health of vulnerable populations, particularly children and pregnant or lactating women, through assessments, targeted interventions such as therapeutic feeding, micronutrient supplementation, and nutrition education. By coordinating with government clusters and partners, the Nutritionist works to reduce malnutrition‑related risks, strengthen resilience, and safeguard the well‑being of affected communities.
