Qualifications

• Grade 12 certificate.
• Relevant qualification in Nursing and currently registered with SANC as Nursing Assistant (Auxiliary Nurse).
• Knowledge of Batho Pele Principles, Patients’ rights charter and other prescripts related to scope of work.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
• Verified proof of experience.

Duties

• Assist and support patients with activities of daily living (physical care) and self‑care, providing quality care according to scope of practice and relevant guidelines.
• Provide elementary clinical nursing care in accordance with scope of practice.
• Maintain constructive working relationships with nurses and other stakeholders.
• Utilize material and resources effectively and efficiently.
• Work as part of a multi‑disciplinary team.
