About the Unit
3 MHC is a 24 bed Prep/Recovery unit at Meijer Heart Center that prepares and recovers both outpatients and inpatients for their Cath and Electrophysiology Lab procedures. The unit is open from 6am – 9pm. The majority of 3 Heart outpatients are discharged the same day and are cared for by the same staff from arrival to discharge. Experience as a Nurse Tech is preferred, and flexibility with scheduling and ability to attend all required orientation classes that are not part of the regular core schedule during the first weeks with this team, is a must.
Scope of Work
The pace of this unit is very fast and includes doing our own patient transport within the hospital. We perform a wide range of procedures on 3MHC, including, electrophysiology, diagnostic and interventional cardiology, structural heart, and peripheral. Team members hired...
